Digital matte painting

I create Digital Matte Paintings for full cg, live action, or animation shows. My skills include creating full matte painting backgrounds, enhancing details on cg elements and 3D renders, creating camera projections and complete 2.5D Nuke scripts and precomps. I have many years of experience creating photorealistic environments, and with my background as a painter and illustrator, my skills are also well suited for illustrative stylized environments.

I create concept art focused on environment design. I use this to help drive the look and mood of certain environments, or to develop them from scratch. This helps tell a story or to capture an emotion. This is also something that can be suited for key shots or to help define the lighting on certain shots.
